After spending a lifetime 'Achieving', I discovered delight and happiness in 'Beading'! I can honestly say that. I paid my own way and completed college at Florida State University. Then, I joined the Army and became the Army's First Woman Mohawk pilot(I flew twin engine turbo prop surveillance airplanes and others plus helicopters.). Upon return to civilian life, I sold real estate, worked for Boeing, became a Stock Broker for Shearson Lehman Bros., later started my own financial planning business and became a Certified Financial Planner. My ultimate achievement was motherhood. As a person who loves challenges, adopted 3 more children. Not to sit on my laurels, I added homeschooling. I discovered the proverbial "Straw that broke the Camel's back."
Sanity came from beading. I love it! I hope to share it with you and hope you'll treasure my works like a family heirloom. My works are made with care and the best quality that I can muster, but they are still handcrafted and delicate. I wish you years of enjoyment!
Sincerely, Brenda Designer and Jeweler (My father would have been proud of me, except for his disdain of beads. He was a professional jeweler.) |
