My Jeweler father once admonished against beads except for precious stone beads. I do love fine jewelry, but found beading much more exciting in colors and textures to fine jewelry, and personally, more satisfying.
Beading is a passion which I discovered later in life. It provided a creative outlet and a invigorating feeling with each piece made. It has been a wonderful relief-valve to daily stresses. I believe God gives us gifts with the expectation that we use them.
